Terms
The agreement between us, a venue, and a creator. Last updated 17 August 2026.
UGC‑Barter is a marketplace. Venues offer a reward for content; creators post it and claim the reward. We run the scoreboard between them. By using the app you agree to what follows.
Nothing here moves money. There is no fee, no invoice and no payment in either direction — the reward is a thing the venue already sells, handed over at their counter.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or over, and the platform account you connect must be yours. A campaign may also set a minimum follower count, which is shown on the campaign before you enter.
If you are a creator
- You keep your video. You own it and you can delete it whenever you like — we ask for a licence to nothing.
- You submit a video you have already posted from the account you connected. A video that was not posted by that account will not count, and one video enters one campaign.
- You follow the campaign's rules as written on it, and the disclosure rules of the platform you posted on and of your own country. Payment in kind is still payment; label it as the platform requires.
- A tier you unlock stays unlocked. If your view count later falls, or the campaign ends, or the venue changes its mind, a prize you have already earned is still yours. The only things that stop a prize being issued are a rule that did not pass, or a tier whose stock had already run out when you crossed it.
- Your prize code is redeemable once, at a venue the campaign runs at, before it expires. The expiry is shown with the code.
- Buying engagement, posting content that is not yours, or deleting the video after claiming a prize ends your access, and unredeemed codes go with it.
If you are a venue
- Once a campaign is live, its rules and tiers are frozen. You cannot raise a threshold, add a rule, or change what a tier pays after creators have started entering. Stock can run out; the terms of the deal cannot move.
- You honour a valid code at the venue it was issued for. The reward is yours to provide and the cost of providing it is yours.
- You decide the rules a person has to judge, and you judge them promptly and consistently. Refusing a creator who met your written rules is a breach of these terms.
- You are responsible for your own obligations around what you hand over — tax, licensing, and anything your local law says about giving away food or drink.
What we do and do not do
We read the public numbers on a submitted video from the platform it is on, check them against the campaign's rules, and record what was unlocked. We do not employ creators, we are not party to what happens at the counter, and we do not guarantee that any campaign will be worth your time.
We depend on TikTok and Instagram for those numbers. If a platform changes what it will tell us, or stops telling us, a campaign may pause or end. A tier already unlocked is unaffected — that is the one thing that does not depend on them.
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, and to the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the value of the reward in dispute. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited.
Ending it
You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time — see Privacy. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms. Codes already redeemed stay redeemed.
Law, and changes
These terms are governed by Romanian law and the courts of Iași, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live. If we change them we will say so on this page and date it; a change never applies to a campaign already live or a prize already unlocked.
